Biography

Duygu is an independent filmmaker and playwright. She was nationally shortlisted as a playwright by Nilüfer Belediye and Mitos Boyut in 2018 and as a screenwriter by "!f Istanbul Festival" !fX Lab in 2019. After participating in writers’ rooms for a while, she wanted to pursue her own cinema and completed an M.A. in Screenwriting at London Film School in 2021, being selected as one of the most outstanding students. She is currently based in London and developing her short films "The Unspoken" and "The Exact Moment My Mother Died" and feature film "Ibrahim" along with her original scripts for TV and stage.
